Leadership Coaching

Leadership Training

For training to be effective:
  1. There must be a need, an area where performance is not meeting expectation;
  2. There must be a desire on the participant’s part to attend, mentally as well as physically;
  3. There must be an action plan created by the trainee;
  4. There must be support of the organization after training, to provide time for the trainee to practice new skills;
  5. There must be a level of accountability thereafter.

PDHR will ensure the training topic is aligned to meet the needs of the organization and the attendees; PDHR will provide a training environment where even the most obvious naysayer will recognize the benefit of the training program; PDHR will incorporate action plans as part of the training program. PDHR will offer recommendations to ensure the organization has tools to support the trainee post-training and the tools to monitor performance and results post-training

Soft skills are not as easy to evaluate, as hard skills. But, PDHR provides a leadership competency assessment and a comprehensive needs analysis that can be used to measure leadership effectiveness, pre and post training. After an initial conference to determine the needs of the organization, PDHR will present a training and development proposal that will include pre-training attendee assessments, and activity-based, real time workshops, as well as a system for holding trainees accountable for post-training action plans.

Group Coaching

Our group coaching sessions meet one a week, via phone, and are directed toward newly promoted supervisors. So many times supervisors have been promoted because of their technical expertise. But, resources generally do not allow for leadership development. This cost effective solution allows team leaders, supervisors, newly promoted managers the opportunity to discuss, in a safe environment, real time challenges. Working with a performance management expert and certified coach, these new supervisors develop into true motivators and performance improvement managers.

Career Coaching

A PDHR coach and HR expert will work with you to find the best career options for you. And, will then review or help create a professional resume, and prepare you for phone and/or in-person interviews. Preparation is key when interviewing, and you will feel full prepared and equipped to discuss positions you have an interest. The Kayaking Challenge

PDHR has partnered with Tampa-based, certified kayaking guide, Don Thompson. Don is founder of Big D's Kayak Adventures (www.bigdskayaking.com). Together, PDHR and Big D's offers fun and learning all at once. Yes, your team can have a great day on the water and learn skills to take back to the organization. We also offer group celebratory days. Lots of fun, lots of bonding; it’s a great way to celebrate the successes – big and small – your team achieved!
